Crissy Field Survey

Postby solarise » Fri Mar 12, 2010 4:12 pm

Hey everybody!

If you have ever been out at Crissy Field, could you take 2 minutes or so to participate in my survey? It is for my graduating senior research project at SF State University. I would really appreciate it if you forward this to your friends that have ever kited, windsurfed, SUP-ed, sailed or swimmed at Crissy Field.

Go to:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dHZvMXY5YW5lZTg5aFdpTU5TRjF6WHc6MA

The purpose of my research is to determine an on-site method to inform visitors to Crissy Field of the current tidal conditions in the San Francisco Bay.

Thank you!!!

The best tip I ever got on tides ...

When you see an anchored ship, the bow always points to the direction of flow.

to clarify, when the bow is pointing towards the ocean, the tide is flooding.

If you cant tell the difference from bow and stern, you might have Ed Zachary's disease. That was a joke I heard a while back:

A woman walks into a chinese doctors office and says she has a problem. The doc asks her to take off her clothes and turn away from him. He says "AHA! i see your problem. You have Ed Zachary's disease." She looks confused and asks what that is. He says, "oh, its where your face looks edzachary like your ass."

There should be a hijack emoticon.
