Foiling at Cable Park?

Post by wheels777 » Tue Oct 06, 2015 12:40 pm

Anyone interested in honing their foiling skills without a kite?

If so, the owners of a cable park slightly north of the city, Velocity Island Park, might be willing to open the park just for foilboarding on a dedicated day. It's about 1.5 hours north of San Fran. It could be a one-time thing, or ongoing.

If this is something people would be interested in, I'd be happy to help make it happen. Better yet, would anyone be up for a foil clinic there, where you could learn tips and tricks from top riders?

Ha! Funny, I was there about a couple months ago and the guys working there were talking about some "dude" who came in and foiled around the park.
Man, I can already picture some mad slams at the last 2 poles (right angle)...
Could be interesting at the beginner pool though...
