Looks like today could be good for Alameda a little later with any luck. Tomorrow should be game on for OB and coast. I think Charlito is probably still in Idaho for the holiday...

Driving on I-80 today to Alameda through 60 miles of crazed shopper traffic -- now that's scary!

See you at OB tomorrow... Should I bring my wife's 6M?

FRI...NW WINDS 10 TO 20 KT
FRI...W TO SW WINDS 5 TO 15 KT
FRI...S TO SW WINDS 10 KT OR LESS
FRI...NE WINDS 10 KT

Well, they really "blew" that forecast.

Actual wind was NW 10-25 KT

These guys can forecast temperature and rain well enough, but their wind forecast is a joke. (I've been playing this game for 20 years now).

Well, they were off course a bit today, but the wind still came through at OB. 10s and 12s from 1 until a bit before sundown.

Needed to be careful though, getting to the water with all those mountainboarders and their kites dodging peds along the water's edge.
I'd say we kiters educated several hundred members of the general public about our sport today, without negative incident. =D>
