Pretty grim snow scene up here compared to the past two years at this time, but winter doesn't need to come early to come big. For those of you who like to get your pedal on, the mountain biking is all time. Trails are packed and tacky and clear to 7500. Downieville is probably going off as well.

Hit Kirkwood today and got my season pass and there was 3 inches of new. Who's up fer carpoolin? Snow biawwtch!
