.MARINE...CONDITIONS ARE TRANQUIL ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS AT THE MOMENT...BUT THIS WILL CHANGE WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HRS. IMPRESSIVE 983 MB STORM OFF THE SE PANHANDLE OF ALASKA HAS BEEN GENERATING LARGE NW SWELLS...AND THESE WILL BEGIN TO IMPACT OUR COAST BY SATURDAY. HIGH SURF ADVISORIES ARE IN PLACE UP AND DOWN OUR COASTLINE FOR SEAS EXPECTED TO REACH 15-18 FT. THIS SHOULD BE A FAIRLY SHORT HIGH SURF EVENT...WITH SEAS ALREADY STARTING TO COME DOWN BY SUNDAY MORNING.

I'm leaving at 1 -- looks like Sherman might be the best call, huh? Berkeley seems pretty steady around 10, but who knows if it will come up.

Hi, got on the water at sherman at 9:20am on my 12m it was flooding very hard and had a 45 min session just trying to hold my ground.
A 16m would have been to much.

Should come back up this afternnon

It's clouding up in the Valley and not getting as warm as yesterday :-x

I'll probably end up flipping a coin between Sherman and Berkeley. These days if you wait to see how the afternoon wind is before heading out, afternoon's almost over by the time you get there...
