I have a good friend calling me it's really GOOD at Alameda as of 2:40 p.m. on Friday. He says he's surprised no one is OUT KITING!!!

No wonder why. Like I am stuck actually working like everyone else...?
Go out KITE! I'm trying too...

Wind was on at SI today. Kevin and Chris were leaving when I got there at 4 -- they had already had 3 hours.

I got a solid hour way powered on the 14 before it got scary. It dropped off when I went back out on the 12, then powered up again after I came back in. But hey, an hour of solid wind this time of year...

Yesterday Alameda was kiteable until dark. On the low side of the wind but kites were 12-16, so not too light.

Anyways, the wind graph from yesterday shows wind direction WSW, but it was pretty consistent NNW to NW. It was also stronger than what you see in the chart, other than an occasional lull it is pretty nice.

Cross fingers for today.
