Charlie,
It's nukin' this morning at SI. Maybe you need to get one more "haircut" this season. I'm gonna try to make it two late October sessions in a row.

Dawn Patrol at SI delivers again on another random Tuesday morning. Scary-lit on the 16-- large lofty air and really crowded. My bag took up the whole launch! Then a windsurfer showed up and I had to leave-- just too many people on the water for me.

I feel your pain! Yesterday I came at the same time as the other guy kiting (cuz the wind dropped), and we had to self-land our kites at opposite ends of the beach -- rush hour at Sherman on a late October day.

Looks like you might have gotten the good wind for today. I'm still hoping for a resurgence, but it's been dropping steadily since noon.

SI launch was pretty crowded this afternoon -- for October anyway. All 8 of us were staring at the water wondering if it was windy enough...

And then it was... for half an hour. And then it wasn't again.

Early bird boosts the worm. And yes, Sir Charles, I hucked a big one for you and OG (as always!) Didn't you see it?

A tad nippy in the shorty though.
