By the way, I looked at the Sherman chart today @ 3 pm -- 18mph. I jammed down there and got the best wind I've had in over a month. Should have gone out on the 12, but the wind came up nicely just after I launched and I was perfect on the 10. Ebbing, sunny, not gusty at all, although it was up and down over the course of the two hour session.
Just a perfect session and just one other person got to share it with me. Just pure luck, too, that I happened to be able to leave work early on a Monday.

I like Leo's 'magic coin' that gives a guarantees 50% forecast accuracy rate.
Iwindsurf forecast is just one of the many resources to consider--NWS, your 'spidey sense' of your local spot, not to mention do you have the time slot free...
The windsensor readings definitely get me more sessions/season for sure tho.
BAK alluded to season ending...don't forget to dry all that sail cloth and lube those zippers...
I think Bric is right...the season is basically from dayight savings to daylight savings...it's been a good one (including an Alameda sesh today).
Thanks to everyone who gave pointers and a helping hand to all the newbies (and shredders in need) most especially to Charlie (the good ole boy ambassador for the sport)!
