I can speak for the smaller sizes. At 185 lbs, I have C1 5, 6, 8, 10. I rarely use the 10. I use 5, 6, 8 a lot. The big benefit of these kites as far as I am concerned is performance. They move really fast and generate lots of power. They stay in the sky when normal kites fall into the water. They drift with the wind if you need them to. I am generally 2 or more sizes down from everyone and often on a smaller kite than people who weigh 50 or 60 lbs less than me. So, "pack down small" and "great for light wind" are nice things, but what really rules is the performance. Other kites are kind of boring after riding the Clouds.

So, as posted on fb page - we had number of cloud riders at Crissy Field today (thu). Check fb to be up to the plans, but AFAIK either 3rd or Sherman tomorrow!
