Sadly we have lost Greg Boyington, aka LMG yesterday. Greg was such an inspiration for so many of us and his talent, generosity, skills and creativity were passed on to so many of us in the kiteboarding community. He was one of the early adopters of the sport and I still remember the first time I saw him at Alameda - I thought he was rad! He was and always has been in many ways.

He was also one of the early supporters of this forum and one of the first ones to post. https://www.bayareakiteboarding.com/for ... p?f=1&t=15

We love you and will miss you dearly Greg.

We are planning a memorial at Crown Beach, Alameda which will be on either the 17th or 18th of this month, we will finalize the date soon and let everyone know.

Greg was a very unique person...it was hard to watch him struggle with his pain over they years...he will be missed...I suck at goodbyes, so I made this short video https://vimeo.com/93793559

Much love, Zmonster (Greg's nick name for me)

Zeev, you dont suck at saying goodbyes. That was very beautiful. Greg had a big personality yet wore his heart on his sleeve. His big laugh, infectious enthusiasm and funny stories will be sorely missed. This is going to hurt for a while.
