Thinking about buying this kite new from their web site. Would somebody who owns a 12m version of this kite be willing to let me try it at 3rd or Alameda? I know that they have 30-day money-back policy, but I would have to pay for shipping it back to Hong-Kong.

Re: Switch Nitro3 kite
Since I have not gotten any response, I assume that this kite is very rare around here. I have never seen it at the upper launch at 3rd, either. The main reason I’m looking for this kite is the price. It is hard to justify purchasing a new high-brand kite when Switch kites cost half as much. They only sell direct with free shipping and will refund you the money if you return the kite within 30 days. The only catch is that if you don’t like the kite, you have to pay to ship it back to Hong-Kong, which is costly (around $150-$200). So, I’m wondering if there is anybody else here who is also interested in this kite and would be willing to share the cost of sending it back. My plan is to buy this kite and all of us who are willing to chip in for the return shipping can try it. If somebody likes this kite, I am willing to sell it for the original price (I will order another one if I like it too). So, we only need to send it back if none of us like it!
BTW, I already have a compatible Switch bar for this kite. I had purchased it a couple months ago as a replacement bar for a different kite.

Re: Switch Nitro3 kite
Hey, I would let you demo my switch kites but I do not have the nitro 3 model. I have seen a few of them around the bay, and the ones I talked to really liked it. If you order a kite and do not want to keep it, it costs more like 80-120$ To send it back, maybe even less. I'd recommend emailing info@switchkites.com The crew is happy to help get you on the right gear, with less risk of sending it back.

Re: Switch Nitro3 kite
I think they have improved in the 3rd generation. I had first gen and the relaunch was a pain. Bought them originally for the boosting.....though my 9m Wainman smoke jumped awesome yesterday. Busting out new Switchblade today. :)
Yes that was a little off topic...
