Crissy field volunteer work day to rejuvenate the Lawn

Hello, the SFBA is working with the National Park Service to get the lawn rejuvenated, were the kite boarders have traditionally pumped up there kites and parked at Crissy field. The GGNRA and Park Conservancy has a long term plan called Crissy refresh that is a multimillion dollar over the top project. But in the meantime we are waiting for the word to have a volunteer workday ! We will rototill the dirt parking lot were the grass used to be and put down several dump trucks of top soil,
and Seed it.

That area could use not getting parked on.. ever again. I vote for that even as a kiteboarder. Much prefer having the grassy riggin area. If you sched'l work on a weekend i'll come out.
