Just bought a new Boardriding cloud maui 13 meter kite. I weight 155 lbs dry without wetsuit, harness ... I love to take the new kite out but can't until later part of the wind season here in SF bay area which is around July ... damm
Anyone else have experience with the cloud strutless kite wind range ?

The top end of these kites reminds me of c-kites. I would guess the kite will stop being fun for you at 19 k. There is a guy who rides at 3rd with one and switches to a 12M RPM when the winds pick up. Have fun. Now you just need a travel board.

Re: Wind range of BRM cloud 13 meter ? rider weight is 155 l
I bought the 13 meter brm cloud to replace another 14 meter kite. I recalled when the wind got up to mid-20 (MPH) the trailing edges of my 14 would start flapping and making loud noises when it moved across the wind window, sort of like a sail or a piece of cloth undulating on cloth-line in high wind. So I agree that around 20 (mph) is probably the high limit for the 13 meter cloud.

I have a 13 and 17m cloud. When kite is depowered too much tends to get chatter on the bar and means time to size down. For me it's around 22mph on the 13m. Low end you will be pleasantly surprised with surfboard. See review below.

BRM now has a solution to extend top end range for the 13 & 17 meter kites with a bridle re-configuration

By looking at the 2 different bridle configs, I am still not sure why it is what is it ???
Anyhow, will probably be flying the 13 meter cloud at Alameda which is notorious for light wind around July timeframe :-)
