It seems like the perfect kite spot, except that it takes like 4 days and serious $$$ to get there on a plane.

Re: Union Island Fullmoon Kiting parties
I have not been there but i have been to nearby Los Roques which was a pretty incredible place. I def am planning on going soon but not sure when. Jeremie has a pretty sweet setup there with accommodations and a kite school plus boats to go kite off the out breaks. its at the top of my bucket list.
it is quite a treck getting there.. some of the 3rd ave crew is going next month and i think it was about $1400 for the flights

Ollie,
I was there few years ago, vacationing on the island/resort Petite St.Vincent.
Winds were pretty good, then... but things seem to have changed in the past few years in the Caribbeans...
Union Island is not that pretty (compared to the rest of the islands around) but it still beats winters in Nor.Cal.
