Re: Some pics on my current trip in Mancora, Peru
Hey Clint, heading down to Mancora for the first time in mid november. Never been, but have done all my research.
Just wondering if you have any last minute tips that might not be in the usual sources of info.
Can't wait to get some of that great looking break!

Here's some tip:
If you haven't book a hotel yet, I recommend the hotel I'm staying, http://www.dongiovannimancora.com, the owner Felipe is a kiter and the place is right there on the beach and he will give you a deal on the room.
No need to rent a car, there are local drivers that take kiters to different kite spots for a fee.
Bring a shortie at least as its cold in lobitos and cabo blanquillo. Mancora is warm, I just where a 1mm top.
If you're flying into Piura, the taxi to mancora is about 250 soles.
Also, if you're paying by credit card, there's a 4% surcharge, so it's better to pay cash.
let me know if you have any other questions.
It's been great here so far and we have been kiting almost everyday.
