News Flash: Race Boards filling up Landfills soon!

Post by Bulldog » Fri Oct 11, 2013 2:26 pm

Wow, just cruising the Classifieds last night, pretty hard not to notice the massive glut of 2013 "state of the art" raceboards out there.

Talk about planned obsolesence.

Last year everyone ditched whatever board they had spend fat $$$$ on in 2012 in the frenzy to get a Mike's Lab with 3 ft. long ninja sword fins, and now it's time to try to unload that stuff to help pay the mortgage on the new foilboards, which it seems fairly reasonable to predict will be completely obsolete by the end of next race season.

You racing guys are nuts...

Lot of the racers are buying the foils but I don't think they are getting rid of the non-foil race boards since foils are not allowed on many of the races they compete in. Racers cannot compete using the foil in the worlds in China in couple of weeks.

Yeah, just the end of season sell off I think. A lot of people are getting foils but I doubt they're totally ditching their course boards..... yet.
