That's right ladies and gentlemen, we've officially nuked on the coast while 3rd is nearly there. Bring out your 4s and 5s and put on your helmets (or don't).

Dammit, 3rd says 50 MPH and I left all my small stuff in Da Hood this week! *bg&

I want to see Hoc out there on his 3m again... :D

Actually, day like today is way more fun at Alameda than 3rd. Usually too gusty for 3rd.

I think you should be able to kite from 3rd to Alameda on the day like today provided you can hold the edge and go upwind once you get into the channel.

3rd was awesome 3-5pm. Only 5 people out. Big swells in the channel and fun, somewhat steady wind inside. Best wind in a quite awhile.

I thought the good vibes were going to spread to the East Bay, and it looked promising early afternoon but it never quite got there. Didn't see anyone riding at Toll Plaza or Berkeley. Looked like some happy folks on the Alameda Web cam, though.
