I've got a leaking bladder valve I want to replace but the SOB won't come off. I've soaked for 1/2 hour in hot water but it still wont budge. It's a wainman strut bladder. Any helpful ideas?

Hmmm, why not just cut around its base to remove the whole valve and use an Airtime Valve trap valve set-up as a replacement: http://www.airtimekite.com/index.php/re ... -trap.html
Kited Benicia Monday and had a really, really great and enjoyable session. Launching your kite there is not for the faint of heart.

Re: !$! leaking valve won't come off
I just cut around my last valve.
+1 on aiding with AquaSeal. Its hard to work with. I let some drip inside my bladder but that's alright.. After you open the tube, put it in your freezer. Its the only way to get shelf life out of an opened tube.

Thanks. Cut the valve out is the way to go. I have to try the valve traps. Benicia launch is not sketch...only sometimes. Fun day today though.
