I saw someone flying a red americas cup kite at SI on Wednesday afternoon. When I went out on the water they were not around. It looked like this Image
and they were on a TT not a race board.

As soon as this guy launched, I actually made some effort to see who it was because of their unique kite. It definitely did not look like any kiter that I've seen and as mentioned, they were on a twintip. No offense to that kiter, but their skills weren't what I'd expected from someone who owns that particular kite. Strange! :roll:

I talked to that guy for a while. Said he worked for Americas Cup, does PR or something. He knew alot about what was going on with the races. Seemed pretty legit to me. doubt that was a stolen kite.
