Getting rid of "that smell"

Post by Sandman_510 » Mon Jun 03, 2013 9:56 am

I recently put deck pads on my board using rubber cement.
The pads are staying on fine, but the board has that smell of rubber cement, very strong...
Anyone know a good way to get rid of "that smell"?

+1 on riding it more often.
The smell will go away with time, but you could leave it in a hot car to speed up the evaporation of the solvents. Just be sure to drive with the windows down.

My booties could be used as some kind of biological agent. If terrorists get ahold of them it could be the end.....what is it in that mold that's so ridiculously nasty?
