This is why you should try the board before you buy.
So true. I pretty much purchase the twintip that has the least amount of spray.

Just to spread the word, http://www.kurtisusa.com/surfshack/inde ... detail&p=8 by far my favorite sunglasses on the water. I've lost a pair of relatively not cheap glasses, so I was skeptical to buy nice shades for kiting again. Read the reviews and decided give it a shot - no regrets, stylish, comfy, no fog, made in cali, the only bad thing is the dirty water on 3rd, after a bunch of crashes the shit from the water sticks to the lens but it sticks to any pair of sunglasses, the spray that kurtis sells helps a lot, but still not perfect. So after like 1.5 session on 3rd the visibility is about 70%. I've crashed so many times in them, they came off a bit only twice.

I ride with these : Ocean sunglasses, model tierra de fuego.

Only a third of the price compare to the one mentioned above AND when I'm done with my session I put them back into "street mode" and use them in my car. 8)
PM me if you wanna take a look at them on the beach.

just got me a par of the Kurtis...they were originally made for surfers. I need to protect my eyes when outside and on the water. Yes, a bit more expensive...they FLOAT

+1 on the Kurtis sunglasses.

I rode for years without sunglasses, but did try a few pairs and hated them all.

Luckily I won the Kurtis ones in Pismo and now I won't ride without them.

No fogging, no more red eyes from the wind, no more glare off the water and also the spray protection.

I would definitely but a pair if I lost or broke them. Save you eyes!

These work well for me ( $15, don't fog much and very durable ):

Sunglasses are not the way to go, they reduce visibility even more than not having them when you get water droplets refracting everything you see.
You need something with wiper blades on it - perhaps something along the lines of this patent:

p.s. how do you post pictures?
