I will be riding Friday afternoon. Mornings are a bit light on wind usually. I was thinking Berkeley or maybe even Toll Plaza, 3pm. Mike Godsey on windalert is telling me to expect upper teens to 20 kts in Berkeley/TI/Crissy/Sherman. I am keeping my expectations in check. Also, it will be around low tide, which should help carve out an actual beach to launch.... which I hear is helpful.

Happy Hour @ Crown Beach in Alameda for today

It is afterall Friday - gotta celebrate with your feet in warm sand & either a cool drink or kite in your hand

Same ... will be hopefully pumping up my kite by 4:30pm ... or driving past to TP if Alameda is looking shut down. Yesterday it was looking nice ~3pm, but then the fog machine turned on, and the wind machine turned off.

Sun, sand, kite in my hand

Good riding with you all

Whoever was on the RPM at the shack learning that I relaunched ... what I was trying to tell you was good luck and Sunday is your day if getting dialed at Alameda is what you're after

Glad to hear you guys got some at alameda. I was working my 13m at Berkeley for all it was worth. A good hour session, but boy are my arms tired. Looking forward to alameda sat afternoon - fingers crossed.

Ollie I really think Sunday will be do-able there. Today was marginal and it still worked.

Alameda seems to come through on AM South Front to PM Mild Clearing transitions days

Sat a.m. Edit: Forecast shifted a little bit - it doesn't look like the clearing is now forecasted to hit tomorrow as originally planned (beginning later now?) Might want to give it a go today if we get a mini-clearing from whatever south is moving through this morning. With the exception of tomorrow evening (beginning of the BIG NW on the radar), this afternoon is looking stronger than tomorrow afternoon so far...

Benicia should be nice with max ebb at around 530....

From 330 on....

Will buy beers after kiting at the yacht club.. Lagunitas IPA on tap.
