Re: Burning ShermanSaw this on the webcam yesterday, and was surprised I didn't see anything on SF Chronicle. Last time there was that big of a plume was the Chevron refinery fire.
Re: Burning Sherman![]() ![]() guess not Yoda.. good too, if it were bigger it would imply it can fit more people. don't want to think about that happening ![]()
Re: Burning Sherman
Which webcam?
Re: Burning Sherman
I was checking out the ABC local cams to try and see if there was any wind/caps over by TP, and then saw the plume on one of the north-facing cams. http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/feature?sect ... id=6095558
Re: Burning ShermanOK, thanks. I thought maybe I'd missed a new Sherman webcam.
Looks like there is history of such here: http://www.bayareakiteboarding.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3073 Does anyone know what happened to the webcam at Rio Viento campground? Kirk out
Re: Burning Sherman
That's what I was thinking too. Bigger doesn't mean better in this case. I think Sloughslut was right... it looks like it was on the Kitopia island. The fire dept. doesn't know how it was started though. First reports said it was a controlled burn, but that was not the fact. http://calfire.blogspot.com/2013/03/ccf ... delta.html
