You forgot the two guys that hooked their kites on the water. And me doing a kiteloop gone wrong then smacked across the water, but no one saw that I hope.

1. Some guy kiting today only in red Board shorts no shirt and no wetsuit. Granted he had a few extra pounds on him but come on.
2. Girl (~130lb) launching a 11 meter Cabrinha with a Go Joe in 25+ mph Gusty wind
3. Guy getting yarded all the way across the landing zone then gets up an starts yelling at everyone.

Darn it, I missed #2 & #3
At around 6:30PM, couldn't feel my toes anymore

After getting out on the water today for an especially spiritual kite session I may have to revise the #1 spot on my list...

My Observations Friday
I saw the guy with no wetsuit
I saw vince luanch lit
I helped stop the young woman who couldn't get her board
But mostly I saw the same old thing that makes the luanch very dangerous

kites parked in theu l/z lines stretched out
kiters pumping up in the l/z
Kiters rigging up in the l/z in street clothes
Kiters luanching with one hand in strong wind
Bla bla bla

Funny how we all have our diff lists. I have my strong preferences but will still hit up a not favored spot every once in a while just for a change.

Alameda does not stop to amaze me... how many times have we seen this, guys pumping up there 12s, when experienced people are on there 9s. If you try to give them advice it will be either "I totally know what I am doing" or "...but its my only kite!". It is entertaining I have to admit. I wasn't in Alameda on Friday, but I was lit on a 7m at 3rd
