who wants to bet the "thieves" were good friends of the owner and had sailed that boat together in the past?

i also find it surprising the thieves didn't just swim in instead of waiting for the police. or perhaps they can't even swim in a life jacket? no rescue raft onboard? youd think they can't be completely ignorant since they got an 82 footer out of the harbor.
