Saturday looks good for wind & waves

Post by litewavedave » Fri Feb 22, 2013 10:47 am

Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC WILL KEEP GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS OVER THE COASTAL WATERS INTO THE WEEKEND. A STORM SYSTEM IN THE GULF OF ALASKA WILL GENERATE A MODERATE TO LONG PERIOD SWELL. AS A RESULT...NORTHWEST SWELL WILL BUILD OVER THE COASTAL WATERS THIS WEEKEND AND PEAK SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY. THE COMBINATION OF GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS AND BUILDING SWELL WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS OVER THE OPEN WATERS THIS WEEKEND.

Dillon anyone?

Whoop! Weekend warrior special. And I'm picking up new kites tomorrow. Race kites in the surf? Yeah!

Here's a little video from Dillon last year about this time. Can't wait to rinse/repeat tomorrow.

You're lying, as I said earlier, there is no wind no where. Stay home with your family people! It's a great day to BBQ and work on fixing the house!
