I remember when this was nascent and first posted about on here.

It is a great idea and awesome to see their adoption success & support received from Archimedes. Who knows, maybe we're witnessing the frontier of crowdsourced weather reporting in beyond just sport...

So who is going to take it to the next level and what will it look like? Afterall the Facebook Theorem states that you can re-use an idea 3 times before it becomes AOL

I have found that the places I kite don't have a signal, so I can't post in real time. That is not an issue with Weendy, but an issue with my carrier, ATT.

I like the idea of Weendy cause it feeds both my bottomless narcissistic need to show off to the world and also pretend that I am a weatherman/film auteur-oh yeah and all that other stuff about crowdsourced weather reporting;-).

Currently not using it anymore because of the signal issue.

I use the app lemon. It's great for backing up your credit cards or misc things in your wallet just in case something happens to it. Just my two cents

I use it. It's great on iOS, still a bit buggy on Android, but has a lot of potential if it can get a decent following. The cofounders are really smart and cool people and are also kiters
