I stayed there too in November.
- I would recommend the bungalows at blue dream
- Bring your small kites
- Bring sunscreen
- I didn't need a wetsuit when I was there
- There's a nice little flat water spot at the island with turquoise water
- Check out plaza copal restaurant
- Tamarindo is nice for surfing if there's no wind

Does anyone know anything about "Pavones"? From what I'm reading I'm being drawn in by promises of wave nirvana (i.e. surf morning / kite afternoon)

Have fun Tomer, safe travels! :]

Thanks TomAUSTRIA for the tips! very good ones.

Thanks A & L for input. Yes this is a good, almost season-opener

I did some baby waves surfing with an SUP in maui in the mornings and loved it. builds great appetite for big breakfast followed by nap followed by afternoon kiting

small kites is the most important tip, it can really nuke there. bring shoes to walk on the beach, all plants have thorns, so sometimes that stuff is laying around on the beach, don't step on it (also don't self land your kite on it...)

Wow very windy yesterday 30 to 40+ mph. Hoping for less wind today(never thought id say that)

When I asked here what time of the day the winds start, the answer I got is: November.

Meaning it almost never really stops in season
