Foot pad advice

Post by troybo13 » Sat Feb 09, 2013 5:41 pm

Hey All,
I have a 2013 Slingshot Asylum and I am not happy with the foot pad system.
Never can dial it in. Too loose or too tight always.
Any trimming recommendations or replacement ideas?
I have a normal size 10 foot and would expect the fit to be better.

Thanks

The fone pads are super comfy and I never had a problem with the Velcro system.
Super easy to set up.
They came up with 2 different sizes this year. S/M and L/XL.
But they don't offer as many angle settings as slingshot though.

I have really narrow feet and honestly always struggled to get my straps to fit right.

made the switch to bindings and it made a huge difference, super comfy and always adjustable.

the new bindings out there are basically just as light as straps. might be worth considering if you're not into board-offs.

I'm actually in the market for F-One footpads now. Do you guys know where to order them? I've searched a bit but haven't found a simple product listing where I could order...

Check out the patented Litewave FLS sandal binding. (Foot Lock System) They're unique enough to get a patent.

They're super comfy AND best part is that they're anchored in 4 places so that they don't rock when you go toeside. All your energy is transferred to the edge of the board thus giving you more toeside edging.
