Wind today? Friday Feb 8

Looks like possible wind around 3 at 3rd Ave.
Anyone gonna head that way?

What about the weekend? I just got back from a couple weeks in Ventana and have a craving.

meh... today looked like it had potential this morning but things are moving really slowly.
I was hoping for a 4pm light wind sesh at OB but it doesn't seem like it's gonna happen.
I have the chance of living 15min away driving from OB (I live in laurel heights), so usually, when I start seeing whitecaps at OB I just jump in my car and by the time I get there and pumped up it's good to go.
Unfortunately, we are in february, and since the wind doesn't get sucked inside the bay, a lot of time you get those "tease days" at OB where the wind stops at about 100 yards from the water line. I don't mind getting skunked on those days since I live so close. I usually end up sitting on the beach with a book. But I can see how it would be frustrating coming from the south bay.

Seems like waddell has been working greatly too lately.

Chris: when the wind isn't here, I usually rock climb.
But I already told Bruce that we should stop at your shop for a little paddle sesh soon.

Bandit 6 is awesome. It merges what I liked about the 4 and the 5.
Lightness and turning speed of the 5 with the softness/predictability and boost ability of the 4.
I love it.
Haven't unpacked the 7m yet but I can't wait for spring sesh at OB to try it out.
