Hope Part II

Post by Aloha » Wed Jan 16, 2013 7:39 pm

In 2012 daylight savings time ended on Sunday November 4th

The sun set at 5:07pm and the length of day was 10h28m

Today although the sun rose at 7:24am and we only had 9h52m of daylight, sun set time was 5:15pm

In 2 weeks the sun will be setting at 5:33pm with potentially kiteable daylight until 5:45 / 6p!???

Oh and the addition of daylight is not linear, so whereas 2 weeks ago we were only adding 38 seconds of daylight day-to-day, in 2 weeks from now we'll be adding an extra 2 minutes of daylight each day

Rode on the winter solstice in great anticipation of longer days and more sessions!
