Hahaha! It's my friend on his volt. I'm giving him a launch after my first session.

How is it? I think the sensor data is a bit wrong on this wind direction. It reads 13mph. Looks like it might still be windy by the weekend...

On a south wind, look at the USS hornet sensor. Not at the beach sensor.
Was awesome. Been here since 10:30.
Now packing up. 5 kites in the water right now.

12 seemed like the magic number. My friend made it work with a 10 and a surfboard.

I'm even surprised somebody even dared to try OB today.
Looked like a mess on the webcam.
Plus, riding at kelly's on a south wind is asking for trouble. If something goes wrong, by the time you ditch the kite the currents and the wind probably already have you smashed against the rocks under the restaurant "cliff house".
You better off starting at sloat I think.
