I was kiting at Dillion Beach yesterday and had my first experience with hitting something firm & meaty with my fin. I'm glad it didn't knock me off my board. As soon as it happened I immediately looked back to see if anything breached the surface. Nothing in sight, but what a erie experience. I hope I didn't bump the land lord...:character-jaws:

Re: Fin Go Bump
Dillon was Epic yesterday, so much fun. Lot of sea vegetation stirred up by the wind just floating out there. A lot of it just prehistoric looking, but, who knows what the hell you hit.

Yikes.
I had a similar incident a couple of months back at OB. I saw a large grey shape swim underneath me. Too small to be the Landlord, so I think probably a dolphin. But nonetheless, I did NOT want to mess up my next gybe!
