Lesson in Maui?

Postby Shawn » Sun Dec 16, 2012 11:07 pm

Headed to Maui for a week over Christmas and wanted to see if anyone had a recommendation or warning of places for to avoid for kiteboarding lessons while there...won't be able to venture too far from Maui, will be with a family vacation.

Thanks!

the guys at Neil Pryde were super helpful last time we were there. They run pretty legit lessons and I'd recommend them for sure.

No advice for lessons, but Rent a car from kimos car rental and you'll save a ton of money. Maybe enough to buy a new kite with your savings from the big companies.

If you are staying down in Kihei, Kihei Rental Car is awesome. Great pricing. Free shuttle to and from airport.

Is that where you got the '88 Nissan Sentra we saw 5 of you packed into or is that where Ed & Deb got their '89 Corolla from? |}{+ %$

Yes.

If you want something special, go elsewhere.

i just rented a nissan sentra 2004 from kihei rental for $400 for 2 weeks - thought it was a good deal.

As far as lessons go, ask Reco to teach you!
