OB was too light to go upwind but enough to ride.
So I played the good Samaritan: I dropped my 3 buddies at Judah street and picked them up at sloat. With beers, mind you.

Today was kind of a bust in the East Bay. I was thinking of going out around 1:30 pm but then it started raining. It stopped, but then it wasn't windy. A friend went out at Alameda but said it was mediocre and not really worth it.

Beach was super fun Saturday! Lucky winds.... Didn't see that coming.

friend of mine got his brand new surfboard ran over and gouged badly by a fin, dude hit the board with his fins, flew off his board, got up and took off. Left a 3" gash in the rail.. firewire board also. Think its worth noting that if someone is dragging around that people should be extra cautious of accidentally ramming their gear, its obviously an accident but sucks to have a badly wounded surf board from something like that.
