how exactly does the kite generate power for the boat?

i could imagine several ways, but didn't think any were fully tested and developed

I think in this case there are two large props spinning underwater... as it's being pulled along by a large kite..

Yeah, Don's project is pretty sweet but the yacht idea has comforts the little race-cat doesn't. You could launch your pod-cat from the mothership and come back after a sesh. You could also launch your ole standard kitesurf kit as well!
