In case anyone is considering Le Noun's offer, it's windy over here on the coast, but it's also raining really hard. I don't know about everyone else, but I've had a lot good sessions recently. I'm nowhere near jonesing enough to rig in these conditions!

Have fun if you go. Also a friendly reminder - there are really only a few rules in the harbor:

1. Please stay far away from the boats moored in the harbor (there seems to be a lot more boats now than ever). We got lucky last year that no harm was done when someone wrapped their kite around a sailboat's mast. If an expensive boat is damaged, the Harbor Patrol will shut us down.

2. Stay out of the inner harbor.

3. Stay out of the boating channel between the launch ramps and the harbor mouth. Probably not going to be an issue today, but dungeness crab season opens in a couple of weeks, so there will be a lot of boat traffic no matter what the weather is like then.

I couldn't make it out of bed for the same reason this morning.
I'm not desperate enough. YET. But I know I will be soon.

That's too bad though, my timing would have been spot on.

Perfect timing except for the fact that it was pitch dark until almost 7AM (sunrise was 7:25AM today). After that early morning squall blew through, the wind completely died, and is now blowing light NW. Dark, wet, cold and gusty wind that shuts off abruptly. Yup - welcome to storm season!

Yeah regular season is still on enough for at least once / week somewhere

Still a few months to go until bottom feeding session mode hits

Lets make a deal this year - lets try to not invite the masses to spots that can only handle few kites.

I was in HMB one day it was so godamm crowded we didnt fit in the harbor. People dodging each other and sailboats. HA, my friend actually wrapped his kite on someone's mast. SOOOOooo shhhhhhhh ; |
