Did You Ride Today? (10/20/12)

Forecasts looked good and it got sort of windy in the East Bay but there was no one out at Berkeley or, I think, Marina Bay. Saw one kite on the Alameda web cam. Not sure about Third--the web cam seemed to be stuck on yesterday.

Did you ride--if so, where? How was it? And what's your prediction for tomorrow?

Gusty but fun at third. Hit a double elevator jump - there were some strong winds aloft.

Sorry, since nick, Phil and I are locals we kept the 11m early session at OB to ourselves.
We didn't carpool either.

Nick was a little hesitant as far as going in the water since we rigged up close to the carcass of a dead seal.

Third Ave was a gust-fest.
Banged it on the 10m RPM and de-powered a bunch most of the time. A whole bunch of kites in the water 5pm to 6:30pm. My guess is that it was 20 with gusts of 30. Weird wind angle too.
All good. It looks like the next few day are gonna happen too. Kowabunga!
