I saw some guy's kite get away from him on the beach and he did a full nantucket sleigh ride on his stomach for about 20 yards, but he let go of the bar, got it back under control and seemed to be ok but I never talked to the guy.....so it's possible he did chow his ribs 'cause he got ganged hard.

Not sure if it was a blown self launch or landing or what that got it started.

Ranger Gary and I couldn't decide which of us were going to catch some guy's kite, and he brought the kite down right between us, which caused momentary confusion about who should grab it.

Since it was low tide, I laid my lines out running to the side of my kite instead of straight upwind.

I know I was traumatized by listening to the 4th quarter of the niners on the radio, glad I didn't blow off a Waddell session to watch that game....

I didn't see any smackdowns or confrontations yesterday but that doesn't mean they didn't happen. The wind was up and down which made for some giant holes on the inside, so what should have been plenty of waves/good rotation could have been converted into some situation where somebody screwed up. Didn't seem overly crowded to me..........
