November?I am making my way down from seattle early next month & am hoping to get some kiting in. i am curious which spots are good in early November? Also average wind at the spots so I know what to bring. Thanks
Re: November?afaik you'll be chasing storm and/or clearing winds if anything in November. they can be fun but are really unpredictable so you'll need as broad a quiver as possible. and you'll have to work on a few days notice. usually storm winds blow from the south with clearing winds following the next few days from the north. Alameda will work on both directions and possibly 3rd ave for the latter though the coast would be a better bet.
Re: November?I've had good days at Dillon "clearing", Alameda "clearing, Third Ave "clearing", and Ocean Beach "storm".
Bring a 5/4 suit, I know you have one if you're from Seattle. 6,8,10,12 RPM's

Re: November? You guys are awesome. Thanks for the info. Hope to see you out there.
Re: November? Most of those spots are ocean kiting, and November waves can be very large. As in Mavericks large.
If you aren't an experienced ocean kiter...two years ago (I think) a kiter visiting from Tahoe died in the fall riding at OB. Just sayin'. Paul
aka Pablito It says 10M, but it's really a 9.
