The shop is coming around for our Grand Opening this Saturday and starting to look like an actual showroom as opposed to the chaos of my garage which has housed Kite Naked since 2008.

The vision we have is much bigger than kiteboarding, however kiting is still our main passion. We have done alot more with SUP with our partners at Delta SUP (based in Discovery Bay) and we have added somthing for everyone (all ages) and all conditions. We will continue to bring new stuff in that is required to feed my ADD.

Along with kitesurfing and SUP gear, lessons and rentals...we also have skateboards, longboards, kids single line kites, duel line stunt kites, trainers and gliders. Lots of fun stuff.

Our location in Benicia, CA allows us to try any of the sports we offer simply by walking out the doors to our shop and walking less than 100 yards to the water, park or the sidewalk.

Details on Saturday:

Timing: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

Snacks & Beverages: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Music & Kite Movies will be playing.

Kiteboard Raffle: 6:30 pm

Hey all,

I swung past Chris' Kite & Paddle Sports this afternoon and had a really great visit. In addition to the weather being unreal today, Benicia is a pretty cool town to check out. There is water access for kite as well as SUP adventures. The shop looks great and is full of all kids of TOYS!

Chris set me up with some new double-articulating Gull-Wing Sidewinder trucks for my longboard and it transformed the board from ho-hum to a full-on carving machine!
