Ummmm. The Delta in the summer is not 82 degrees, or whatever the high on Saturday was.

I'm not going to make any presumptuous statements, but to anyone who lives north, south, or east of SI, the last three days have been cool bordering on chilly. I know that the Bay folks think anything over 65 is "hot".

Saturday morning at 6 am I could see my breath! That just doesn't happen around here in the summer...

I'm guessing it must have been nukin' down there today, based on how windy it was up Sacto way.

I am afraid there may be a little too much "in-crowd" history here. For those of you who may not be "in-the-know", Charlie is from the East Bay. Charlie also runs one of the largest East Bay "speed" cartells. Every weekend Charlie heads up to SI seemingly to kite but those who know what he's really up to know why he waits for the eb and then heads all the way to Collinsville.

Collinsville is a small river town about 3 miles upwind of SI. There's not a whole lot going on and it seems to be a river paradise for many of Charlie's clientel...hence Charlie's "speed runs"...Charlie I know you thought the Tu-Tu was a good distraction from your speed runs but I think it may have just drawn more attention to you.

The speed runs really are impressive though...tell me, do you make enough money considering how long it takes to deliver the product all the way upwind?
