I dont race but am looking for a good seat harness, i see a lot of racers use them, i bought a mystic force sheild and hated it. I use a 06 mystic warrior waist seat but they dont make them no more and mine is done, any suggestions?

my Mystic seat is comfortable but unhooks (on the side of the spreader bar) when I jump on toe side-

-DUMB A$$, put the lockout clip on that side..

On my nitrous bar, they got plastic clip to hold the spreaderbar. On another harness, inverting the hook for the spreader bar solved the issue.

You can drill a hole and lock the clip with a screw if flipping it doesn't work. Then u have to take it off like a diaper but you have to do that anyways for most seat harnesses.

I've heard O-rodeo makes a good one with thigh straps.

Prolimit Kite Seat Pro. Way more comfortable than any dakine, liquid force or ocean rodeo harness i've tried. Wont touch the Mystic products...just seem cheap.
Get yourself a Dyna bar too.

I have been using a seat harness by North since 2010 that I like a lot, I think its called the Transformer. Several times I have considered moving away from the seat harness to a waist only option, but the stability of having the harness remain in the same spot and ease of distributing the force to counter the kite from my back down through my hips makes it tough to consider the change.

I am not sure where you kite but if you want to try it out one day (XL size, I'm a 36 waist) and let me try your waist harness in return, I'd be happy to meet up.
