The dude on skis is a pioneer of our sport; and when you hear them talk about 12m and 17m consider that I'm no small fry and was fine on 9 by the finish line...

I remember reading about a guy with a kite racing in the yearly gorge race in the early 90's in Windsurfer magazine. He won the race but they refused to recognize him. It must be this guy, Corey, so stoked to find out who it was after all this time. I wonder if he was making his own kites, where he got the idea, etc.

The future is here already, its all around us, we just refuse to recognize it.

Cory gave a kite rig to an old windsurfing buddy of mine named bard chrisman
it was a delte fixed wing kite that had a payout wheel and brake on it.
Bard would swim out into the water then payout the kite then ride on a Pair of carbon skis
I think he got those from cory too
I can remenber him Carving around coming down from brooks island too point isabel
On that rigid frame kite with a big old pair of carbon skis
