Last year there was many days when m14 was better than m10 or the old one m12. There is some bad ass swell down there but has to be windy and ebb helps to get home, before all these dumb boat rides lots of people rode down there and when its windy i do and its cool, people that dont are not (kidding) more for me ::)
Riding used and closeout kites and boards from e-bay,craigslist,ikitesurf, and local surf shops. Now riding home made foils

14 is located near the "sign" launch, where windsurfers camp, just by Rio Viento (the fancy trailer park). The sensor is all the way across the river, and it's somewhat in the wind shadow of the far shore. It has to be blowing hard, from the SW to read high. If there is more West in the wind, as we've had lately, it is in a wind shadow.

On a big wind day, and certain parts of the ebb I like to go down there. The river is very narrow there which amplifies the swell action. You gotta know where to go in order to make it back to the access launch.

These should help those understand why M14 may seem light on W days vs days where there is more SW.
