Sherman today...

Post by OliverG » Sat Aug 11, 2012 7:58 am

Forecast is just ok, but we see inland heat, coast packed with fog, angel island is 32 sw, a good indicator, what do you think? But despite that the general news is still forecasting 100F out there...

Ha, angel island reading of 32sw is from yesterday at 3pm so it's irrelevant...Looks like maybe the coast today...

Sherman is averaging 24 right now. Headed out there for the day.

Could we get onsite report of what's going on at Sherman?
Marker 14 and 10 completely disagree lately.
Which one is accurate?
Thanks. :P

Marker 10 is right off the beach and is the best indication of conditions at the launch.

I know that. But marker 14 was reading 6mph in the middle of the day and the marker 10 was reading 24mph.
I'm just trying to figure out which one is broken and which one works.
Any feedback's from people who were there today?
