HangPro manufactures the SlideHanger wetsuit hanger. You hang your wetsuit from the waist. Indorsed by wetsuit manufactures. No more shoulder blow outs and less fabric stress. Check it out at NorCal Surf Shop, Proof Lab etc. Or on line at http://www.thehangpro.com
I just put round foam pipe insulation over a heavy duty hanger, no shoulder blow-out here. Home Depot has it very cheap or ask a buddy if they have some hangin around.
I got one of these as a gift, don't really use it much except in the winter when I know I'll be doing back to back OB sessions... Dubs as a blowout hanger.

The foam insulation works great. However it’s a little hard to get it into the wetsuit shoulders, especially the front zip wetsuits. Also the weight of the whole wetsuit hangs from the shoulders stretching the fabric. Those big electric fan hangers work great too. I have heard they can dry a wetsuit pretty fast. But it also stretches out the shoulders. Shoulder hanging is especially bad for long term storage. The best method for hanging a wetsuit is at the waist where the fabric is thickest and the weight of the wetsuit is distributed evenly. The SlideHanger™ is 1 ½ inches wide to help reduce fabric stress and when the wetsuit is wet, water only has to drip half as far. The SlideHanger™ is really convenient to use. It SLIDES into position making hanging your wetsuit easy whether chest zip or back zip. It travels well and it only takes up half the vertical hanging space.
