1) Can I use a wake board for kitesurfing?
2) Is swimming essential for kitesurfing?
3) Since I've been practicing with the trainer kite for months now, can I just skip the land lesson and take water lessons instead?

- You can use a wakeboard, but it will hinder your progress as the combo of rocker, shape and fins are not suited to kiteboarding.

- Swimming is more essential than anything else kiteboarding. That does go without saying! If you can't swim, kiteboarding is not for you. Period.

- If you have a fair amount of practice with a trainer kite, it is possible to skip the land lesson, but the thing is that many of the basics that do not involve actually flying the trainer kite are covered in the land lesson. By skipping the land lesson, you may hinder you progress by not having the complete background and fundamentals.

Hope this hepls, feel free to post more questions....
