Don't mean to be negative, but this is no different from the wind pagers from years ago. Seriously, it might be worth complaining to iKite because to have to use an ASCII text only site because the app doesn't work is a real drag. I've been using the wind app for a couple years now on iPhone 3G, 4S and ipad and it always works perfectly.

Hit them up on their support page and see what they say... .>

Hey Guys with android phones and problems with WindAlert App.

Although WeatherFlow *should* be getting error reports, they may not.

I am an Android Programmer, and would just love to help you out if I can.

One thing I may be able to do to help is to hook up your phone to my development environment and retrieve debugging information to send to Weatherflow.

And, with the cooperation of that Awesome support at WeatherFlow, I could probably retrieve even more info if they build a special version with debugging enabled (which is quite easy to do) ...

hey, if you have not tried the latest beta version, maybe they fixed your problem

if you click on this link:

http://weatherflow.us1.list-manage.com/ ... 57e16f0938

short version:

http://goo.gl/bOvBI

from the phone, a download should start, then click on the notification of download complete to install.

you will have to uninstall the market version and enable "unknown sources" from settings-->applications for the beta to work

The app on the iPhone is great I find.
Not sure about the android version I think there is an opportunity here for an android developer to help them out.
