SE asia is actually pretty sick during March-April. I spent some time working in China and had the opportunity to kite Boracay in the Philippines - kite mecca with plenty of shops to rent gear and a cool island style scene for chilling out too. One side of the island is a large protected sandy bottom lagoon, the other is packed with hotels, bars, and restaurants. Some good diving there as well. Mui Ne in Vietnam is also stellar from what I hear.

Kitoons Asia has a nice visual of Asia destinations... check it out here

Have fun!

mui ne is a lot of fun, and is pretty consistent with regards to wind. however, no lagoons or waves, mostly big chop.

Ya Boracay in the Philippines is top of the list for now..i have a friend who just arrived there yesterday..he counted over 100 kites in the air..sounds like a pretty busy spot...
does anyone know any spots in Indo that time of year??

Thanks for the info guys.
